Ramtech has developed various systems to thaw frozen IQF, and both block shrimp and then soak in the same system. During and after the thawing, the shrimp can be, if desired, "soaked". After the thawing, additives are added to the water, the shrimp can absorb these additives for a certain period of time. During this soaking the fluid surrounding the product stays in motion.
After washing the headless materials it must be soaked in water with additives. For this purpose Soaking Agitator is used. This soaking agitator has a vertical rotating shaft in which leafs are mounted. This shaft is rotated at the desired speed. Tubs are positioned at the bottom of the soaking agitator. The rotary motion enables the headless materials to be completely agitated and soaked. We manufacture two types of soaking agitator by taking type of operation into account.
